Jean Staune - rétrograde

La nouvelle de JS est de faire la fine gueule vis-à-vis de ce qui est publié sur le Web.

Je comprends que ça lui fasse mal que ses non-sens soient critiqués convenablement, mais se voiler la face en disant que ce qui est publié sur le Net n'est pas valable (ce qui ne concernerait pas ce que la JTF publie sur le Net :-) ).

Le problème de Jean est que malgré le fait qu'il n'a laissé passer que les critiques positives sur son forum, par ailleurs il a raconté tellement de bêtises et s'est fait critiquer si vertement (pas que par moi comme il aimerait faire croire) que ça commence à devenir gênant pour son business.

Alors, à une époque où tout le monde se tourne vers la communication via le Web, Jean Staune se réfugie aux publications papier. :-D

Jean Staune n'aime pas la discussion publique autre que celle encadrée par les médias qui font de la pub pour vendre son bouquin. On se demande pourquoi il garde une connexion Internet, il pourrait investir le prix de l'abonnement en papyrus.

Allez Jean, aux travaux pratiques.

En attendant, pour ceux qui ont un peu plus de jugeote, les critiques continueront sur le Web ;-)

Staune, paranormal et "l'idée" du Vatican

We must recognise that many young people are relative strangers to any religious dimension. Even so, this is just waiting to blossom forth. How can it be otherwise in this world that eliminates all that is religious? They confuse it with parapsychology, the irrational and magic. They are attracted by phenomena "at the far reaches of reality" that provoke emotional responses and make them feel that another dimension exists. However, in this case, they only find themselves, their feelings and their imagination. Fashionable spirituality is one without words, reflection or intellectual content. Nevertheless, they do not represent a large movement. With this mentality, you have to be "cool", "zen" and quiet, that is, feel nothing and be in a muffled torpor. All kinds of mistakes are possible because there is no institutional or intellectual control. Anything at all can be put in the place of God. This attitude is light-years away from Christianity which is the religion of the Incarnation of the Son of God. It transmits a message of truth and love with which we can construct our lives and fight against all that spoils and destroys it. Young Christians feel that this presence of God and his message bring immense hope. It opens up paths of life for them. But when religious feeling, which is inherent in human psychology, is not educated and enriched by an authentic message, it remains simplistic and imprisoned by a superstitious and magical mentality. The lack of religious education fosters sects and false prophets who proclaim themselves in order to speak in the name of a divinity created in their own image. The human person has a need to be introduced to a dimension beyond oneself and which the Creator has inscribed in the heart of each one. In this way it is conveyed by God to others, to history and especially to a life project that brings self-knowledge and that humanises and enriches. This is the meaning of the Word of the Gospel transmitted by the Church.

Tout Chrétien croit en dieu donc Tout chrétien est déiste meme si de nombreux déistes ne sont pas chrétiens...

Jean Staune - Michael Behe

Par contre je tiens à dire ici que des gens comme Michael Behe sont pour moi bien plus sérieux au plan scientifique et bien plus respectueux des idées des autres et des procédures de débat scinetifique que des gens comme Richard Dawkins ou …Oldcola pour qui mensonge et calomnie tiennent lieu d’argumentation scientifique.

Bon, il y a eu d'abord MarkCC, qui n'a pas été respectueux de Behe, puis ERV qui lui a fait un cours apr Internet iterposé, là c'est Ian Musgrave qui se permet de montrer quel niveau d'incompétence Behe atteint. Il et impossible de qualifier l'attitude de Behe de sérieuse ou de le dire respectueux des idées des autres quand il affiche une telle ignorance les concernant. Un peu comme Staune quand il semble croire que 't Hooft est du même bord que Suarez, se montrant irrespectueux de tous les deux.

Je pense que Jean Staune devrait avoir l'occasion de discuter le sujet "Behe" avec son ami Ken Miller à la première occasion.

Après, il aura peut-être l'occasion de nous dire pourquoi quiconque devrait respecter l'ignorance dont lui-même et Behe font preuve. Behe de la position d'un scientifique qui semble avoir oublié de s'intéresser à la littérature ayant rait aux sujets qui le préoccupent, Staune de la position d'un manager qui se sert d'une pile croissante d'hypothèses (pile dont la base a depuis longtemps disparu), faisant semblant que ça pourrait faire tenir ses croyances, ou qu'il s'agit là d'arguments pertinent pour les discuter.
